FOUNDER – MIRA LESMANA
Mira Lesmana made a name for herself as a producer who revived the Indonesian film industry in the year 2000 after producing the phenomenally successful family film, “Sherina’s Adventure” (2000) and the teen flick “Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?” (2002). Since then, she has produced films ranging from big budget box office hits to small independent award-winning shorts.
Mira Lesmana’s tenacity as a producer was notably demonstrated through her first biopic, “Gie,” a challenging film set against a dark period of Indonesian history that required years of intensive preparation and a demanding production process. Her strong conviction and unwavering determination were instrumental in the realization of “Gie” in 2005.
She is currently partnering with the famous actor Nicholas Saputra in producing “Rangga & Cinta”, reviving her famous IP, “Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?”, which is in post-production and to be released in cinemas this year.
